Storytime With a Farmer will be on the 3rd Tuesday of every other month at 6 PM. To serve the literary needs of Crawford County youth, the Crawford County Farm Bureau developed the Storytime With a Farmer program for toddler to preschool-age children. An agriculturally-based book, primarily those published by the American Farm Bureau Federation, is read to the children. After that, poems and other literature related to the main content of the book are shared with the kids. Then, a quick matching game is played to provide a fun opportunity to reinforce the agricultural content of the month. A fun craft or activity rounds out the program to provide the children with materials to take home with them in an effort to continue discussions of the agricultural information they learned.

Crawford County is now part of Ohio Governor’s Imagination Library! Sign your child up to receive FREE BOOKS today!
