Teens

Our Teen Room has a little bit of everything: books, manga, comic books, crafts, and computers. Teen Services Manager Kolter is not only up-to-date on all the latest and greatest teen books, but he has plenty of creative ideas as well! The teen room, known as the CLUBHOUSE is currently offering computer sessions for teens to come in and play their favorite games or get some work done. Along with being a great place to read, hangout, work or play, Kolter has started programming like Science Experiments and STUFF, Teen Dungeons and Dragons, Esports and Board Game Night!

Introducing the Level Up Program

Developed in partnership with Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center’s SPARC READY FOR HIRE program, the Level Up program offers young adults (grades 6-12) the chance to explore and prepare for future careers through exciting STEAM activities and projects. Participants will learn essential skills to help them prepare for careers in cutting-edge fields and will be able to self-direct their learning to explore how their future career plans can match their personal passions.

Registration for the program has started, and the library will host open houses to allow participants and their parents and/or guardians to experience what the program offers.

Open House dates: October 20 between 4-5:30 PM, October 23 &24 between 4-7 PM, and October 27 between 4-5:30 PM
