Consortium of Ohio Libraries

Consortium of Ohio Libraries (COOL)

Bucyrus Public Library joined the Consortium of Ohio Libraries (COOL) in May 2019. BPL joined 12 other libraries currently part of COOL. Patrons have access to a mobile app and text message notifications.

The consortium delivers materials to BPL two days a week. Patrons will typically get available items from other COOL libraries less than a week after placing their request.

COOL is a partnership among library systems that share materials and resources while remaining strong, independent library systems. Libraries in the consortium include: Arcanum, Blanchester, Cardington-Lincoln, Community (Sunbury), Galion, Germantown, J.R. Clarke (Covington), Marvin (Shelby), Mount Gilead, Selover (Chesterville), Worch (Versailles), and Wornstaff (Ashley).
